PET/SPECT IQ Phantom

MINI JASZCZAK COMPATIBILITY, MODULAR DESIGN, AND TOTAL CONFIGURABILITY

RSD’s PET/SPECT IQ Phantom delivers the measurement capabilities of a standard Mini Jaszczak phantom with a fully modular sphere and rod pattern architecture — a first in its class. Individually replaceable sphere and Derenzo rod inserts allow users to configure the phantom for standard protocols or customize insert sizes for specific research and clinical applications. Integrated bubble traps reduce fill-related void artifacts for cleaner image acquisition. Suitable for acceptance testing and ongoing QA programs in clinical and research settings.

Product Features & Benefits

Modular Derenzo Rod Pattern: Each of the 6 rod sector inserts is independently replaceable with standard or custom-diameter rods — a configuration not available in conventional Mini Jaszczak designs

Modular Sphere System: Each sphere is individually replaceable, supporting standard solid (cold) spheres, custom-diameter spheres within tank tolerances, or fillable (hot) spheres for hot-sphere contrast studies

Mini Jaszczak Compatible: When configured with standard spheres and rod inserts, the phantom is dimensionally compatible with standard Mini Jaszczak specifications, supporting use as a direct replacement

Bubble Trap Lid: Two integrated bubble traps capture air introduced during filling, reducing void artifacts in acquired images; bubble traps also function as lid removal handles

Acceptance Testing & QA: Establish baseline system performance metrics at installation or following system upgrades, and perform scheduled monitoring to detect system drift, verify calibration stability, and document specification compliance over time

Performance Analysis: Supports non-uniformity artifact analysis, COR error measurement, attenuation and scatter correction evaluation, and reconstruction filter characterization for both PET and SPECT acquisition modes
